Client: Manchester City Council
Value: £3 million
Location: Manchester

The project consisted of a new design and build, two-storey teaching blocks and a new single storey dining hall, with external works, car-parking facilities and landscaping works. This was a high profile contract on behalf of  Manchester City Education Department.

This two single stage contract comprised the use of a traditionally built, brick/block clad, part steel frame structure, with a concrete tiled roof to match and enhance the adjacent, existing school building, which was built in the 1930's.

We constructed new teaching blocks providing approximately 3000 square metres of floor area for students, with many classrooms fitted out with furniture/benchings etc, for information technology, media, art, woodworking and science subjects.

The works also included car parking facilities, paving, landscaping and a central courtyard for students' use.
