Local labour at GamesleyAt Casey, we take our Corporate Social Responsibility seriously and one area of this is the employment of local labour wherever possible on the schemes we undertake.  Over the years the continued success of this initiative has led us to develop our own ‘Local Labour Policy’ that we aim to deploy as standard on new projects.

The Energy Efficiency scheme we are working on at Gamesley for High Peak Community Housing is a great example of our policy in action.  On this scheme we are currently employing 9 people who live on the estate we are working on, or in the local vicinity.

lichfield_1One of the most prestigious ‘flagship’ projects in our recent work history portfolio, the £4.5m Beacon Park and Mister Pool is now complete.  Located in the centre of the South Staffordshire City of Lichfield close to the ancient Cathedral the restoration work was a multi-faceted project requiring several different work disciplines in our service delivery.


P&C Casey Limited has decided to withdraw from the plant sales market and concentrate on hire and service through its subsidiary, P Casey (Plant Hire) Limited.

Sarah Bell & Philip Duffy, Partners at MCR were appointed Joint Administrators of P Casey (Plant Sales) Limited (“the Company”) on 14th December 2011.

The business ceased trading on 30 November 2011. The appointment was part of a restructuring within the P&C Casey Group and all other businesses in the Group.

Sister group, “The Casey Group Limited and subsidiaries”, is unaffected by the appointment of Administrators over the Company and remains profitable.
