Company History
Combining the principles of a sound business with the personal touch of a family firm, The Casey Group has provided a wide range of construction services to clients since 1968.
The original business of the group was set up to work primarily with local authorities on general building contracts and landscaping. Areas of activity were generally related directly to the environment and have always been associated with projects such as landscape improvement, the creation of parks and open spaces, and the regeneration and modernisation of housing.
The increasingly wide scope of the projects undertaken demanded a level of specialisation and expertise that stretched the abilities of a general building contractor, so Casey business grew by a deliberate policy of diversification. Separate companies were established to look after core areas of the business. Click here for more information.
Even before Sir John Egan’s report “Rethinking Construction”, The Casey Group was actively engaged in collaborative projects with local authorities and demonstrating that we had a co-operative and efficient way of providing our services. For more than 30 years, The Casey Group has developed deep and trusting relationships with clients, and since the publication of the Egan Report we have enthusiastically adopted the values of partnering and pursued partnering arrangements with several local authorities and public bodies.
