Originally created in the early 1920's, Stanley Park has become famous as one of Blackpool's major public attractions. Restoration was to be in keeping with its original designs whilst bringing a modern feel to its appearance. Work disciplines included extensive hard and soft landscaping, paving, themed garden creation and horticulture works, stone walls, steps and footpath restoration and green area creation. Additionally there was a significant amount of building restoration work, car park construction and childrens' play area installations.

The Cafeteria was refurbished internally in line with the original Art Nouveau décor with external walls, windows and doors also being restored to their original designs. Other building works in the project comprised the external alterations to the Visitor Centre entrance and the conversion of an old park storage unit to form a Police Post.

Paving restoration took place on the footpaths throughout the park in tarmac and Yorkstone stone paviors particularly around the lake and water features which were also part of the project works.

The Park remained open to the public during the construction phase and we maintained an exemplary heath and safety record throughout coupled with high levels of client and end user satisfaction with both product and service.
