Project: New Golf Course
Value: £2m

Designed by golf course specialists Gaunt & Marnoch this project provided a completely new nine hole golf course on agricultural land which required extensive earthworks, drainage infrastructure and shaping.

New tees, fairways and greens were constructed in line with the architects' design. This required extensive shaping of the ground to form the course, bunkers and greens with earthworks to substantially lift the fairways to ease drainage.

Fairway construction also involved extensive cultivation and fertilisation with greens being created to exacting standards by our own trained horticulturalists and green constructors to USGA specification.

Soft landscaping included cultivation of the rough areas, planting of trees and shrubs and creation of an ornamental lake. Footpaths were constructed around the site with earthworks and tree planting to screen the course from the nearby motorway.
